Recently I brought a new Dell Laptop. The laptop is very good with Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB Ram and 160GB SATA hard disk. The look and feel of the laptop was excellent. The laptop came with a Vista Home premium edition. This was the first time I was using Vista. When I started to use the laptop I felt really very excited. The graphics in Vista are really excellent. The OS was very good with lots and lots of features. But after seeing many options I was confused a bit. But the bad thing is that I felt that the OS was very slow when compared with XP. I love XP very much because of its great looks and speed. Even I could not install some of the softwares in Vista. So I was planning to switch back to XP again.

These days there are many viruses, worms, Trojan horses and others that will harm your computers easily. They may also access your private data. It is advisable to protect your computer from malicious users and their attacks. The first thing is that you should always use a strong password. Your password should consists of at least one numeric and a special symbol. You should also avoid words found in dictionaries. You should use a good anti-virus program. At least download a free version and use it rather than not using anything. There are many viruses spread through email attachments these days. So never download anything sent as an email attachment from someone you don’t know. Use a firewall to defend malicious attacks.
