Mini laptop offered all this at a price that was simply affordable for students.
Mini laptop started as a noble project to provide laptops below $100 for school students. It was targeted at schools and educational institutes with the motto of one laptop per child. It connected the students to the world of information superhighway. Very soon many companies like HP, DELL and Sony sensed a business opportunity and launched new segments of Laptops called ‘Mini Laptops’.
Looking at the response it generated from schools, colleges and educational institute, it will be matter of time when it will replace heavy school bags and books.
